Obligatory 'About Me' Section
I'm female and live in Canada. I divide my time between Ottawa (la ville bilangue! Ici we parle the francais!) and Toronto. At the moment, though, I am living in Paris la Belle, and attending Sciences Po, living the Canadian Dream of being the awkward exchange student. No matter where I go, home will always be Ottawa, and I will probably always be hopelessly and awkwardly Canadian.

I attend the University of Toronto at Victoria College. I am a history major, minoring in French and political science.

All of my jobs seem to involve barista-ing in some form or another. I love chatting with customers and meeting new people. I love making a fool of myself to get a laugh out of strangers. I have very little shame. I love music and going to shows. I love sticking song lyrics and quotes in random places (because someone else has always said it better then I could), and changing my journal title every five minutes. I secretly love hokey sci-fi, and I unashamedly love zombie films. Warning, I make horrific typos and swear at lot.

I have very strong opinions about tolerance, language rights, minority rights, and especially gay rights. If you are homophobic or bigoted in any way, best move along, here be dragons.

Et finalement, j'écris habituellement uniquement en anglais. Mais si vous êtes francophones, vous êtes absolument bienvenues de me répondre en français! :D
